Taiko Extreme Linear Power Supply

The Taiko Extreme Linear Power Supply is a 12V linear power supply designed for the Taiko Extreme Router and Switch. It can power either component individually or both simultaneously, with filtered and unfiltered outputs sharing a single power rail with a total capacity of 1.5A.

The Extreme LPS may also be used with other compatible components, provided their voltage, polarity, and current requirements fall within the supply’s specifications.

Its purpose is not simply to provide clean DC power, but to improve the electrical environment in which the system operates.

A power supply can influence more than the component connected directly to its output. Ground, reference, and noise interactions can carry its effects into the wider system, and the Extreme LPS was designed with those relationships in mind.

Its filtering approach adapts to the noise actually present in the system. Taiko combines this with a deliberately low component count and exceptionally high-quality parts, using the best components they could source and commissioning parts to thier own specifications where necessary.
